Samhain is held on Oct. 31, and is known to me as Old Hallows eve. Samhain is a celebration that defines the role of death and the cycle of life. Of course all of lifes lessons and its effect on our "real world" experiences.
Witches consider this New Years. The veil is much thinner at Samhain. We learn so much from those in the spirit world.
At this time I do my annual ritual to speak with those whom I have lost.
Remember when doing your circle to allow only good spirits inside...or you might get a surprise.
